OVERVIEW

Our 100 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training is an immersive hands-on 9 day course focused on helping you create a strong foundation for a deeper Vinyasa practice.
Vinyasa Yoga has its roots in the ancient Indian practice of yoga, which originated thousands of years ago. The term “vinyasa” comes from Sanskrit words “vi” meaning “in a special way” and “nyasa” meaning “to place”. It refers to the conscious and intentional linking of movement with breath.
The modern style of vinyasa yoga that we are familiar with today was popularised by Sri Krishnamacharya, a highly influential yoga teacher from India. Krishnamacharya is often referred to as the “father of modern yoga” and is known for his role in reviving and promoting the practice of yoga in the 20th century.
Over time, vinyasa yoga has evolved into a broader term that encompasses various styles and approaches to yoga, all of which emphasise the fluid and intentional linking of movement and breath. Today, vinyasa yoga is practiced worldwide and has become one of the most popular styles of yoga due to its dynamic nature and the sense of flow its creates in the practice.
The primary focus of this course is to help you go deeper in your ability to lead a vinyasa flow style yoga class. Most of your time will be spent on understanding the basic elements of vinyasa flow including what is the base of vinyasa practice, how to design a class, what are the key elements of vinyasa class etc.
You will be able to get an in-depth understanding of vinyasa class with emphasis not only on personal practice but also use classes like yoga philosophy, human anatomy and drills & sequencing to better your teaching skills.
We invite you to join us in this immersive experience with us in Goa, India.
